Cole Vanderheiden Wraps up Season at I-80

Cole Vanderheiden brought down the curtain on his 2022 season on Saturday night with a trip to I-80 Speedway (Greenwood, Neb.).

A stacked field of 32 were on hand for what was Cole's 50th race of the 2022 campaign.

Starting fourth in his heat race, he slipped to a fifth-place finish, which relegated him to a B-Main.

He rolled off the grid third in his B-Main, and had high hopes of a Top-3 finish to lock into the feature. Unfortunately, Cole got sideway in turn one and collected another car. The ensuing damage brought the team's night to an early end.

With his rookie season in the Sprint Car ranks in the books, Cole would like to thank each-and-every person who supported him this year. The team is already busily preparing for the 2023 campaign.
