Tiffany Wyzard's talent as a driver was evident the first time she was in a racecar, says her dad, Jim Wyzard. Tiffany, originally from Springfield, moved with her family to Williamsville where she graduated in 2005 with honors from Williamsville High School.

Tiffany and her sisters frequently attended races with their mother and father which is where she discovered her true passion for racing. Jim noticed the enthusiasm in his daughters eyes and decided to buy Tiffany her first racecar. At just nine years old, she has racked up more trophies than she can wrap her arms around.

She moved from 1/4 midgets to mini sprints, then had the opportunity to run a sprint car belonging to Brian Homer. "That's when we decided to buy our own sprint car," said Jim. She races every weekend, sometimes two or even three races, and has become a familiar figure to fans at such local tracks as St. Francois Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, Pittsfield, and Jacksonville.

Not only is she a fine racer, Jim says, "As a mechanic, she's really good about letting you know what she needs for the car." She's also extremely focused. Everything non-racing related, "She is so competitive on the track, everything else rolls off her. Nothing affects Tiffany at the race track."

The fact that she is female seems to make her that much more focused. "She's more afraid of failure as a female for all the other females," Jim says. "She looks at all the other female drivers and analyzes their faults."

Tiffany's career has been a successful one thus far, breaking many barriers, such as being the only female to score heat race and trophy dash wins at St. Francois Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, and Jacksonville Speedway, as well as being the only female Feature Winner at the Lincoln Speedway in a winged sprint.

Other accomplishments and special honors bestowed upon Tiffany include the 2000 Jacksonville Speedway "Rookie Of The Year", 2000 Macon Speedway "Most Popular Driver" recipient, 2005 St. Francois Speedway "Rookie Of The Year" and 2006 Lincoln Speedway “Fan Favorite” Award Winner.

Tiffany and team will once again race a select schedule for the 2015 season, focusing on the events around Central Illinois!
