Following in the footsteps of his father, Dane Laster, Brayton Laster began racing when he was 8. He started by racing go karts and was racing a Super Late Model on dirt by the time he turned 15. He's raced in a variety of divisions through the years, including racing with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. He made his ARCA Menards Series debut in 2022, competing in the superspeedway events at Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway with Mullins Racing.
