Motor issues cut Topless 100 weekend short for Parker Martin

On Friday afternoon, Parker Martin made the trek to Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Ark.) for the 41st-running of the Topless 100 with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

With 64 cars entered for the weekend, Parker qualified 17th fastest in his qualifying group before his motor gave way in his heat race.

With too much damage sustained, Parker withdrew from Saturday's $50,000 finale.
