16th place finish in World Championship at Cochran

Saturday night found Parker Martin in action at his home track of Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Ga.) for the Chevrolet Performance World Championship. With 55 Crate Racin’ USA entries on hand for the two-day event, Parker timed in fourth fastest in his qualifying group before placing fifth in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main on Sunday for another shot at the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Martin came short with an eighth place outing. Receiving a provisional into the main event, Parker Martin marched forward eight spots in the 75-lap affair to place 16th.
