Cotton Pickin' 100 brings Martin to Magnolia

Parker Martin was one of 34 Late Models on hand at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) on Friday afternoon for the Cotton Pickin’ 100 weekend. After coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place outing, Martin posted a runner-up finish in his B-Main behind Myles Moos, which positioned him 20th on the starting grid for the opening night feature. On Saturday afternoon, Parker laid down the fastest lap in his time trial group on his first lap, but a broken rear-end on the second lap sidelined him for the remainder of the evening.
