Martin records 13th place finish in King of the Crates opener

Parker Martin returned with the Crate Racin’ USA series on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Ala.) for the King of the Crates doubleheader. In a field of 35 cars, Parker followed up the ninth fastest time in his qualifying group with a fifth place finish in his heat. Starting the $2,000-to-win A-Main in 19th, Martin marched forward six spots to register a 13th place finish.

Saturday night’s $3,000-to-win finale was wiped out by Mother Nature.
