Heading to the first race in many years, we are looking forward to racing and also bringing our very fun racing simulators to the show! It will be lots of work, but also much fun. Be sure to stop by the USA Simulator booth and experience what its like to drive a 900hp Sprint Car.
A day with the Sims

Last week at Cuyamaca College, I took the simulators down there for Skills USA (Automotive Competition for High School Kids) and for all of the students. There was 72 students that raced against each other all the way to two. The winner got to race me (Randy Waitman)! .. and the winner is Ol’ R.W. The bottom line is the students all had a blast and are looking forward to our next event. Speaking of next events, Monday the 25th we will be at San Diego Stadium for the San Diego High Performance Expo. We will have two simulators and the real racecar, along with tee shirts and misc. for sale! Come on down and visit us and have your turn at the wheel of a World of Outlaw SPRINT CAR! See you there! and remember keep the rubber side down.
As I remember my crash

O'what a great day, early to the track to take some photos with the team and the simulators. Everybody is happy and things are going well. Hot laps, now time to qualify and I think I will just relax and lay down a so so time, drive this old hotrod into turn one and damn if the car comes around and then it hikes the front end and here we go, (hey do I have a pilots license for this thing) the next thing I know rescue is holding my head, I keep saying hey who hit me, and resuce informs me that I was qualifing, lips close and I let them handle the situation. Back is very sore and hurts a little bit, ok, maybe a lot, take that all to fun ride to the hospital and again the next thing I know i'm waking up in a bed and the nurse asks me if I know were I'm at? What a question. The doctor comes in and informs me that I have a broken back and major head and neck trauma. Friggin great, all I want to know is when can I race again!
