Oval Nationals
Wednesday nights practice went really well and we thought we had a hotrod to race with. Well unfortunately on Thursday qualifing turned out to be very difficult and we were in the rear of the pack. Ahhhh. Scramble to try and figure out what is going on with the car. We never did figure it out, so we decided to just hang in the back and make laps. Finished in the top 4 and made the transfer to the B. Ran the B without any hickups and the night is over. Friday, clean the car, and tear it apart trying to figure out whats up. We find a few problems, adrees them and then qualify, I drive into turn 3 into the cushion, why? The car bicycles - great video on loudpedal - thanks guys :), again horrible qualifing and we are again in the C. Didn't make the transfer, its a wrap. Saturday brings another day and try, again found some more issues, addressed them, but now I don't trust the car, bad qualifing into the b main we go. Started in the back and the drop of the green flag and - hey we have a hotrod, pass a few guys and driving into turn one on top, guy in front of me turns the car almost around and to miss him I have to throttle it, missed him but spun and colleted another car. Night & weekend are over. Maybe it is a good thing that we can bring the car back and analyze what is going on. That is my story and I'm sticking to it. Thanks for listening and see you next time.
