Top 5 Finish at the "Tribute to Jesse"

Alumbaugh Racing collected a third place finish Sunday, May 30th at XX Speedway in California, MO. The XXX Chassis sprinter started in the sixth starting spot and worked well on the California, MO oval. After dropping back a position on the start, Austin moved up to fifth on lap three chasing front runners Cornell, Jones, Blank, and Potter. Using the 6th lap restart, another position was gained to put the #33 into fourth behind Blank. Alumbaugh made a pass on Jonathan Cornell on lap 17 to claim the third running spot while Tyler Blank was out front leading the field. Lap 21 saw the final caution of the night when Blank made contact with another car allowing Adam Jones to become the new race leader. Sitting behind Jones in second on the restart put the Alumbaugh Heating and Cooling Sprinter within striking distance of a win. Current Winged Outlaw Warriors' point leader, Eric Todd, had other plans and slipped by Austin on the 23rd circuit to claim second. The top 5 finishers in the 25 lapper were Adam Jones, Eric Todd, Austin Alumbaugh, Brad Graham, and Evan Martin.
