Drake Troutman 11th with UMP Modifieds at World Short Track Championship

Drake Troutman took a break from Super Late Model competition and entered the Jerry Foster-owned No. 5 UMP Modified at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) for the ninth annual World Short Track Championship.

Troutman qualified fourth-quickest in his group before winning his heat race which put him on the fourth-row for Saturday's $4,000-to-win main event. Slipping outside of the Top-10, Drake recorded an 11th-place finish.
