Early exit while leading in Late Model at Port Royal

Friday night found Drake Troutman in action at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.) competing in the Late Model portion of the Tuscarora 50.

After his fifth-fastest qualifying effort locked him into the $4,000-to-win feature due to threatening weather, Troutman took command of the lead early before a broken transmission sidelined him with 10 laps remaining.

Saturday's Jays Automotive United Late Model Series-sanctioned Ken Schaltenbrand Memorial at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) fell victim to weather.
