Chase Holland runner-up in Paw Paw George Memorial

Two weeks later than it was originally planned, and after a lengthy rain delay on its rescheduled date, the second annual Paw Paw George Holland Memorial Race presented by Chase Holland Racing was completed on Saturday at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi).

The $5,000-to-win event brought 25 Open Wheel Modifieds to the quarter-mile “House of Hook,” with Chase Holland’s Industrial Dock & Door No. 45 Modified in the mix throughout the evening.

Holland qualified second for the 45-lap main event and never ran lower than third en route to a runner-up finish. He took the checkered flag 1.291 seconds behind winner Lucas Lee, with Joseph Joiner, Ronnie Roberts Jr. and Rusty Cooper completing the top five.
