Goldesberry Ready to Wrap Up July at Dodge County and Plymouth

Improved qualifying speed was a goal of Jordan Goldesberry Motorsports this past weekend in Minnesota and North Dakota. A goal which the team accomplished, but a “complete night” still evades the Rockstar Energy Drink #65 team, says driver Jordan Goldesberry.

“We’re still struggling a bit with putting a complete night together.” The 2022 IRA Champion admitted. “Qualifying well all weekend was definitely an improvement for us this year. Misfortune in the dash on Thursday ended our night early there, and had speed both nights at River Cities but we just didn’t find the end result to match it.”

Goldesberry made the A Main all three nights during the Buffalo Wild Wings King of the Wings event held at Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN on Thursday night followed by a doubleheader at the high banks of River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, ND. Two dash appearances on Thursday and Saturday highlighted the weekend, but with finishes of 24th, 17th and 15th, respectively, the team definitely feels as if they have a point to prove heading into the final weekend of IRA action before the Knoxville break.

“I’m really looking forward to Dodge County this weekend.” Goldesberry said of the upcoming Harry Netizel Tribute on Friday, July 26th. “We led a lot of laps at this event last year and we’ve won at Plymouth in the past as well so definitely excited to get back there on Saturday.”

Goldesberry said it’s important for the team to find some consistency before heading into the final two months of the 2024 season.

“We really just need to put one or two solid nights together in order to get some confidence and break out of this slump. This team deserves to be running up front.”

Tickets for this weekend’s events at the Dodge County Fairgrounds and Plymouth Dirt Track will be available at the tracks on race day or in advance for Friday’s Harry Neitzel Tribute through the My Race Pass app, and as always the entire Northern swing will be broadcast LIVE on FloRacing.
