Dylan Thornton
Fourth-place finish with Malvern Bank East Series at CJ Speedway
Dylan Thornton's race-week kicked off on Tuesday afternoon with a trip to the Badger State to compete in the the 16th annual Clash at the Creek at 141 Speedway (Maribel, Wis.).
With a pair of $10,000-to-win main events on tap the next two days, Thornton drove into Tuesday's opener with an impressive eighth-to-second run in his heat. Wheeling his way forward again in the feature, Dylan gained five spots from the fourth row to finish third. He joined Tim Ward and Benji LaCrosse on the podium.
On Wednesday, Dylan was an early exit from his heat on the third lap, relegating him into a B-Main. Buried on the eighth row, Thornton nearly raced into the feature by passing 10 cars but came up two spots shy with a sixth-place outing.
In the Super Late Model ranks on Friday, Thornton rolled to a fourth-place finish in the Tony Stewart Tribute at C.J. Speedway (Columbus Junction, Iowa) aboard the Kay Motorsports No. 38T Late Model.
