Shipley charges to runner-up finish at Attica Raceway Park

Friday night found Colin Shipley in action at Attica Raceway Park (Attica, Ohio) competing in a field of 18 Late Models.

Following the eighth-fastest lap in time trials, Shipley dropped one spot in his heat race to finish sixth. Advancing through the field nine positions in the 25-lap feature, Colin stole second from Mike Bores with a last-lap pass to secure a runner-up finish. He followed Devin Shiels across the line with Bores, B.J. Gregory, and Larry Bellman rounding out the Top-5.

Saturday’s event at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio) fell victim to Mother Nature.
