Britt Battles at Talladega Short Track

After seeing the weekend's Lucas Oil ASCS slate nixed by Mother Nature, Landon Britt Motorsports traveled south to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) for a United Speed Contest Sanction (USCS) Sprint Car doubleheader.

Friday night found 22 entries on hand, and Landon battled track conditions to advance from the sixth-starting spot to a fourth-place finish. In the night's main event he raced from the ninth-starting spot to a sixth-place finish.

Action continued on Saturday evening, and Landon once again drew a poor pill at registration, which found him once again starting sixth in a heat race. For the second-straight night heat race competition saw Britt advance to a fourth-place finish.

The night was rounded out with a 30-lap finale, and Landon started seventh before crossing the finish line in the ninth position.
