Britt Opens 2022 with USCS at Hattiesburg

Landon Britt kicked off his 2022 campaign on Friday night at Hattiesburg (Miss.) Speedway with the opening round of the Hub City 200, which was sanctioned by the United Speed Contest Sanction (USCS) Outlaw Thunder Tour.

Nineteen entries were on hand for the lid lifter, and after contact with another car sidelined Britt early in the night in the Hoosier Speed Dash, he rebounded to win the third heat race, which positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the feature.

In the 25-lap main event, Britt battled a free-handling car to ultimately finish 12th.

Action resumed on Saturday night with the second leg of the doubleheader. Passing two cars to finish fourth in his heat race, Landon lined up ninth on the starting grid for the 25-lap feature.

After slipping backwards on pair of restarts in the finale, Landon went on to advance to a sixth-place finish.
