Robards claims podium finishes in weekend action at Doe Run and Highland Speedway

Harrison Robards and his RS12 Motorsports team started their weekend on Friday at Doe Run Raceway (Doe Run, Missouri) where “Dirty Harry” from Dardenne Prairie, Missouri, competed in both the 600cc Outlaw Winged Micros and Restricted Winged Micros classes.

Robards finished second in his heat in the 600cc Outlaw Winged Micros class, positioning his Spartan Transportation No. 12R mount in the third starting spot for the 20-lap A-Main. Robards led three laps and never dropped lower than second on the 1/6-mile oval, coming home in the runner-up spot.

In the Restricted Winged Micros, Robards drove his Alarm 24 No. 11H machine to a second-place finish in his heat race and both started and finished third in the 12-lap feature.

On Saturday, the team shifted venues to Highland Speedway (Highland, Illinois) where Robards was one of 25 competitors in the Micros class on the 1/4-mile oval. He finished eighth in his heat race in the No. 12R and ended the evening with a sixth-place result in the B-Feature, just missing out on a transfer spot.
