RUN-A-MUCK MUD BOG: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Jamaica, VA – Beautiful weather and seasonable temperatures for this Saturday, October 5th, have officials excited and anxiously awaiting the running of the 17th Annual Atkins Petroleum and Propane Run-A-Muck Mud Bog, presented by Breezeline and WhosYourDriver.org. The Pit is once again bringing the Premier Mega Truck Racing Series back for their banquet race and some intense head-to-head mega truck racing action, and this Saturday’s event will be bigger and better than in May if that is even possible.
Four Hill-N-Hole divisions will also compete in the State's most challenging mud pit. Competitors are encouraged to visit www.thepitatvms.com for the rules packages and payouts.
The Premier Mega Trucks will race side-by-side in a bracket format on the short course. Some of the biggest names in the business will be on hand to see who will become King of the Pit. This event will be a non-points race for the Premier Mega Truck Racing Series, with a large number of trucks already saying they will be in attendance.
There will again be two Kids Power Wheels divisions, Box Stock and Unlimited. Parents will need to register their children before 11:30 am.
Also, fans will be able to get an autograph or photo with Dennis Anderson in a special meet and greet. Dennis’s King Sling Mega Truck will be on hand to compete. There may be a special surprise or two as well.
Gates and registration will open at 9 a.m. for Premier Mega Truck Racing, Super Stock, Pro Stock, Modified, and Pro Mod classes. The mud bog will begin at noon. Registration and inspection for all classes will end at 11:30 a.m.
Adult gate tickets are $25, students (7-17) $15, and kids 6 and under free. Tickets are CASH ONLY. 16” or smaller coolers are welcome, no glass containers. Concessions will be on hand, and there will be cash and credit cards.
There is space in front of both grandstands for fans who want to put up and Easy-up, and it is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Running order for the mud bog will be Kids Power Wheels, Premier Mega Trucks RD 1, Super Stock, Premier Mega Trucks RD 2, Pro Stock, Premier Mega Trucks RD 3, Modified, Premier Mega Trucks RD 4, Pro Mod, Premier Mega Trucks Finals, and Freestyle.

The Premier Meg Truck Racing Series banquet will be held after the action has completed. Fans are welcome to attend, adults (13+) $25, kids (6-12) $10, with 5 and under free. It includes the awards ceremony and food.
The Pit at VMS is located on the grounds of Bill Sawyer's Virginia Motor Speedway and is situated on U.S. Route 17, eight miles north of Saluda, VA, and 25 miles south of Tappahannock, VA. The Speedway is just a short drive from Richmond, Fredericksburg, Southern Maryland, and the Hampton Roads area.
