Smith, Spatorico, Surman, Cotriss, Reid, Burgman, Cotriss, and Greene Win at Little R's Summer Nationals

RANSOMVILLE, NY (August 22, 2024) Trent Smith won the Mike Barry Motors Sr Heavy event at the Little R at Ransomville Speedway Thursday Night in the Little R Summer Nationals. The win for Smith came with a $500 payday. Colin Spatorico won the Fisher’s Auto Repair Sr Lites event, paying $200 to win. Joey Surman won the Frontier Auto Wrecking Jr 3 Jax Cotriss won the Bud’s Apple Pie Jr 2 feature. Jack Reid won the Planter Box Direct Jr 1 feature event. Jaxon Burgman, Bentley Greene, and Easton Cotriss won the Reid’s Drive-In Novice features.

All feature finishes are unofficial pending technical review. After the event on Thursday night, the carburators for two teams were taken and secured by a certified inspector. Upon further testing, they have been found to be legal. We thank the teams for their professional behavior during this process and for all involved in ensuring fairness and aiding us to keep a level playing field.

Next Thursday night, The Little R will be back in action with a full points show, as the Junior 2 division will be featured in their $125 to win special plus a Ladies race. Racing gets underway at 7pm, and as always, FREE grandstand admission.
