POWRi West Midgets coming to Tulsa Speedway Friday
by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (July 5, 2021) - POWRi West Midgets will tackle the Tulsa Speedway high banked quarter-mile oval when racing resumes on Friday night.
Jake Neuman of New Berlin, Ill. leads the current standings with one victory but Broken Arrow competitor Emilio Hoover is just 10 points behind. Trey Group of Lincoln, Neb., Emerson Axsom from Franklin, Ind. and Texan Kyle Jones rounds out the top five.
National local competitors Daison Pursley, Cannon McIntosh and Kaylee Bryson have also raced with POWRi West this season.
Dwarf Cars will make their first appearance at Tulsa this season and will be joined by Factory Stocks and USRA B-Mods on the program.
Race time Friday is 7:45 P.M. Grandstands open at 5.
