Jackson Motorplex Offering Big Payouts During Season-Opening Event on April 28

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (April 4, 2018) – A lot of money is up for grab during the season-opening event at Jackson Motorplex later this month.

The recently renovated 4/10-mile oval hosts the IMCA Frostbuster and Ben Nothdurft Memorial on Saturday, April 28, during Bank Midwest Night presents the Double Down Showdown.

IMCA a mods, IMCA sport mods, IMCA stock cars, IMCA hobby stocks, IMCA sport compacts and the Tri-State Late Model Series will be in action. All IMCA divisions will be presented a unique opportunity as the winner’s payout in the A Main will be doubled if 24 or more cars show up in a given class.

Without the bonus, IMCA a mods will race for $600 to win, IMCA stock cars and IMCA sport mods pay $500 to the winner, the IMCA hobby stocks winner will be awarded $300 and the IMCA sport compacts victor takes home $100 to win. Those figures will double if at least two dozen drivers compete.

Additionally, the Tri-State Late Model Series presents the inaugural Ben Nothdurft Memorial. The race pays $3,000 to win with second place netting $2,000 and third place $1,500. WISSOTA late models are welcome and the main event will pay $250 to start.

The pits will open at 3 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7 p.m. with racing to follow.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for students ages 13-years-old to 18-years-old. Children ages 12-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30 per person.

All IMCA classes will have a $10 draw fee.
If weather postpones the event the make-up date is Saturday, May 5.

There will be a test-n-tune session for all classes on Friday, April 27, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
