Jackson Motorplex Hosts Season-Opening IMCA Frostbuster This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (April 24, 2017) – The 2017 season will get underway this weekend at Jackson Motorplex, which hosts the IMCA Frostbuster this Friday and Saturday.
The marquee event showcases the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods, IMCA stock cars, Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks and IMCA sport compacts each night.
A lot of money is on the line at the half-mile oval, where the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA a mods will race for $700 to win on Friday and $1,500 to win on Saturday. If any driver sweeps the weekend by winning the A Main both nights he or she will receive a $300 Arnold Motor Supply Clean Sweep bonus.
The Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods and IMCA stock cars main events pay $400 to win on Friday and $750 to win on Saturday. The Arnold Motor Supply Clean Sweep bonus pays $300 for sweeping the Bohl’s Small Engine IMCA sport mods division and $200 for the IMCA stock cars division.
The Fairmont Awards IMCA hobby stocks class will provide Friday’s winner with $300 and Saturday’s winner with $500. The Arnold Motor Supply Clean Sweep bonus is $200.
Drivers in the IMCA sport compacts class will compete for $75 to win on Friday and $200 to win on Saturday.
The pits are scheduled to open at 4 p.m. with the front gates opening at 5 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m. each night.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger each night. Pit passes are $30 each night. Jackson Motorplex is offering a Family Pass, which includes two adults and up to three students, for only $33 each night.
For fans unable to attend the event, Speed Shift TV will offer live Pay-Per-View video each night at http://www.SpeedShiftTV.com.
The rain date for the IMCA Frostbuster is Friday, May 5.
