Jackson Motorplex Giving Away More Than 100 Bicycles to Children Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Aug. 1, 2016) – Jackson Motorplex is hosting its 9th annual Bike Night this Saturday.

More than 100 bicycles will be given away to children throughout the race program, which showcases Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks, Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts and After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA stock cars.

All five classes feature a thick battle for the championship.

Don Gerritsen Jr. holds a 22-point lead over Chris Palsrok in the Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods championship standings with four-time feature winner Brandon Beckendorf only 35 points out of the lead.

Jason Andrews leads the Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods standings by 29 points over both Matthew Looft and Dan Paplow.

Seven-time feature winner Justin Luinenburg is on top of the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks standings by 14 points over Austin Jahnz.

Nate Coopman, who remains undefeated through nine Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts races this season, has a 14-point advantage over Jay Devries with Kaytee Devries only 19 points behind Coopman.

Luke Sathoff has a one-point advantage in the After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA stock cars standings. Jim Larson ranks second with Levi Feltman third – only 19 points out of the lead.

Tickets for Saturday’s program are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors ages 65 and older, $6 for students ages 13 to 18 and free for children ages 12 and younger. Pit passes are $30.

The pits will open at 4 p.m. with the main gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 7 p.m.

As a reminder, there is no racing this Friday at Jackson Motorplex or the following weekend (Aug. 12-13).
