Coopman, Luinenburg, Andrews, Slawson and Sathoff Earn Wins at Jackson Motorplex

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (July 16, 2016) – Nate Coopman and Justin Luinenburg continued their tear throughout the 2016 season on Saturday night at Jackson Motorplex.

Coopman captured his eighth straight feature victory and Luinenburg won his seventh race of the season at the half-mile oval. Additionally, Chris Andrews picked up his third triumph this year with James Slawson and Luke Sathoff reaching Victory Lane for the first time this season at Jackson Motorplex.

Coopman charged from ninth to remain undefeated in Boji Bay Water Park IMCA Sport Compacts competition this season. Neil Forsburg advanced from sixth to second place with seventh-starting Kaytee Devries placing third, eighth-starting Jay Devries fourth and Ryan Westman fifth.

Luinenburg maneuvered from seventh to earn the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA Hobby Stocks feature win over sixth-starting Austin Jahnz. Corey Schrieber advanced from 11th to third place with Ben Peterson fourth and Alan Stammer fifth.

Andrews powered from ninth to claim the Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA Sport Mods main event. Points leader Matthew Looft rallied from 10th to a runner-up result with Greg Sidles placing third, 16th-starting Danny Myrvold fourth and Lyle Sathoff fifth.

Slawson drove from eighth to garner the Wilmont Oil IMCA A-Mods feature victory. Points leader Don Gerritsen Jr. finished second, Chris Palsrok third, Randy Klein fourth and James Richert fifth.

Luke Sathoff held off Levi Feltman to win the After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA Stock Cars main event and take over the points lead. Jim Larson ended third, Gary Mattison fourth and Dustin Larson fifth.

Racing will return to Jackson Motorplex next weekend with another doubleheader featuring the National Sprint League, Last-Deck® 360 Sprint Cars and Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars on Friday before the regular Saturday IMCA program.
