Get ready for a HUGE 4th of July Weekend!
Get ready for an action-packed 4th of July weekend at Alaska Raceway Park! We're thrilled to announce a series of exhilarating events that will keep the excitement rolling from Thursday through Sunday. Here's what you can expect:
Thursday, July 4th: NHRA Top Eliminator Racing
Kick off the weekend with NHRA Top Eliminator racing. This event features none other than "The Grizzly," the track record holder, who will be tearing up the strip and pushing the limits of speed along with many other great Top Eliminator racers. Gates open at 10 AM, racing begins at 2 PM.
Friday, July 5th: Junior Dragster Chaos, FIRST EVER Roll Race, and Cash Days
Jr Dragster Chaos: The excitement continues Friday morning with the Junior Dragster Chaos, where young racers will compete in thrilling drag races, showcasing the next generation of racing talent. This event takes place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
1320 Video Roll Race: In the afternoon, we’re hosting the first ever roll race in partnership with 1320 Video! This unique event features a rolling start, providing a fresh twist on traditional drag racing. Due to limited entry, participants need to register and get their tech slip soon to secure a spot in this groundbreaking race. Gates open at 11 AM, racing begins at 1 PM. Registration can be done at alaska.tracksideapp.com.
Cash Days: Friday evening wraps up with the highly anticipated Cash Days event, where racers will compete from the top end of the track in a no-holds-barred, no prep, drag race showdown. Gates open at 4 PM and the show starts at 6 PM.
Saturday, July 6th: NASCAR/INEX Oval Race
Saturday switches gears with a NASCAR/INEX oval race. Fans of stock car racing will be treated to thrilling laps around the oval track, as drivers battle for supremacy in this high-speed contest. Gates open at 2 PM, qualifying at 5 PM, and racing begins at 6 PM.
Sunday, July 7th: NHRA Top Eliminator Racing
The weekend concludes with another exhilarating day of NHRA Top Eliminator racing! Gates open at 10 AM, racing begins at 2 PM.
