NeSMITH CHEVROLET, BUICK, GMC IN CLAXTON, GA SIGNS ON AS TRACK SPONSOR

COCHRAN, GA – Officials at Cochran Motor Speedway have announced that they have entered into marketing partnership with NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Claxton, GA and Jesup, GA.  As the Official Track Sponsor, NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC will provide Cochran Motor Speedway with an Official Pace Truck, and special promotions throughout the 2016 racing season.

This agreement fits well for both parties, as Cochran Motor Speedway hosts a racing series sponsored by NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, and many competitors at the track use Chevrolet Performance engines and parts purchased from the dealership’s racing oriented Parts Department.

“To have a dealership with such a high profile in racing as NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC to choose Cochran Motor Speedway to promote their products is huge,� Cochran Motor Speedway Owner/Promoter Chris Martin said.  “They could have chosen any race track within 100 miles of their dealership to sponsor.  We are just so proud that NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC has chosen to sponsor Cochran Motor Speedway.�

Cochran Motor Speedway hosts special events throughout the year featuring the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series that uses the economical Chevrolet Performance 604 and 602 Circle Track Engines that are built and sealed at the General Motors factory to prevent any expensive modifications.

NeSmith Chevrolet, Buick, GMC also sponsors the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series for Late Models and the NeSmith Performance Parts Street Stock Division where drivers at weekly race track throughout the country compete against each other using a points system.  Talks are currently ongoing to have Cochran Motor Speedway be a part of those two programs in the future.

In addition to the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series, Talks are also underway with NeSmith Racing to bring the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series to Cochran Motor Speedway.  The super late models in the Chevy Super Series are powered by the all-aluminum Chevrolet Performance CT525 Racing Engine that is based off the production LS3 Engine that comes in the Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro, and the Chevrolet SS.
