Sweet Springs winners include Rennison, Benson, Goodno
By Chris Hale (Sweet Springs, MO) -- A beautiful July evening and 89 entries greeted our loyal fans for another exciting night of open wheel racing at the Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex.
Knoxville Iowa's Riley Goodno won the Winged A class. Garrett Hulsey shot out to a commanding lead only to spin out early in the race. A dejected Hulsey would restart at the rear. Goodno took the lead and had a spirited battle with Keegan Brewer. When the checkered flag flew it was Goodno first, Brewer second with Hulsey right beside Brewer taking third.

Braden Knipmeyer won the Restrictor class but not without a fight from Chase Brown and Xavier Doney. These three cars battled the entire race. They finished in that order but you could have thrown a blanket over the them.
Tyler Rennison came back from misfortune in the Non Wing class to get the win in the Winged Outlaw class. Riley Goodno was second and Garrett Hulsey third.
Quinton Benson won the Non Wing class after racing his brother Dwayne Benson who came home second . It was Dwayne's first appearance at SSMC this season. Blake Bennington got a hard-fought third place.
Garrett Benson had a popular win in the Junior class. Chevy Boyer and Peyton White raced hard for second with Boyer getting the spot. White rounded out the podium.
Bill Killion also got a very popular win in the Sportsman class. Daryl Perkins was second with Robert Bledsoe getting third.
Once again the SSMC crew ran a very efficient show with the checkered flag flying on the last feature at 10:30!
