SOMMERS VICTORIOUS IN DAIRYLAND 100

Wisconsin Dells WI-Gabe Sommers collected his second straight Alive for Five Super Late Model Feature win by claiming the Dairyland 100 Presented by Slowey Farms. James Lynch and Ryan Farrell would bring the 27 car field to green with Farrell grabbing the early lead from the outside pole. Sommers followed Farrell from his outside row two starting position and put the pressure on early and often eventually grabbing the lead and set a blistering pace for the 100 lap event. A late caution would bring Max Kahler to his rear bumper and into a twenty lap side by side battle for the win. A caution with nine to go would hand the lead back to Sommers who would drive off to the stripe and the Dairyland 100 Trophy. Sommers was followed to the line by Max Kahler, Casey Johnson, Jeff Storm and Luke Fenhaus. The Qualifying races were won by Jeff Storm and Bryce Miller. The heats were won by Casey Johnson and LeVon VanDerGeest. Luke Fenhaus was fastest of the 29 car field with a lap of 13.427. The Alive for Five Super Late Models presented by Wegner Automotive will be back in action August 10th for race number four The Badger State 125.
