New Wave of Super Talent Comes to Falloween
Wisconsin Dells WI 10/21/20-A New Wave of Exciting young talent will make their presents know in the Falloween 150 as the tide is a changing again on Wisconsin short tracks. Just as the seasons change so do our short track hero's as the names Trickle, Shear, Reffner, Ziegler, Holzhausen, Marzofka were replaced in the late 90's by Bickle, Kenseth, Reiser, Ollerman, Wilberg, Bennett, Wimmer, then again the Y2k movement of Johnson, Majeski, Farrell, Morrissey, Sauter, Fredrickson, Zehr, we now once again are seeing a whole new wave. Max Kahler at 17 years old just won the National Short Track Championship at Rockford Speedway a couple week ago, a teen feat only accomplished by a young Mark Martin. TUNDRA Series winner Gabe Sommers sits third in the overall Alive for 5 Series Championship still within range to over take point leader Ryan Farrell & second place Casey Johnson. Slinger regulars Nathan Matz and Grant Griesbach have entered as well as some young talent from Norway Speedway Tanner Kelly and Cameron Clifford. Over 30 of the Midwest best Super Late Models are entered for the Falloween 150 which proves year after year to be a treat for a year end special. This year the temps may be a little on the cool side but the excitement will be hot with not only the Super Late Models but the Midwest Truck Series, 602 Late Models and INEX Legends will all Crown their 2020 Champions at Falloween this Saturday afternoon.
Spectator gates will open at 11am for the special event, with qualifying at 12:30 and racing at 2pm Saturday October 24th. Adult general admission tickets are $20, Seniors (65 and over) and Students (ages 13-17) and Military are $15 with kids ages 12 and under admitted free. General admission tickets can be purchased in advance at: dellsracewaypark.com or at the track box office on the day of the event. Those that purchased tickets for the rained out ICEBREAKER 100 can use that ticket to gain admission at Dells Raceway Park Saturday October 24th. Dells Raceway Park is located two miles west of I-90/94 at Exit 85 (Rocky Arbor) just off of Highway 12.
