Kinser, Schatz, Wolfgang, Moyer, Hearn, Gordon, Stenhouse and many others donate to NSCHoF World Finals Auction on Saturday in Charlotte, N.C.

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (November 3, 2014) – It is expected that at least seventy-five (75) unique and authentic pieces of short-track racing memorabilia, many of which will be autographed, will be on the auction block this Saturday afternoon, November 8, at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame World Finals Auction, at 12 Noon on the grounds of the Charlotte Motor Speedway during the World of Outlaws (WoO) World Finals. Items signed by the likes of Steve Kinser, Brett Hearn, Billy Moyer, Donny Schatz, Jeff Gordon, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., and Doug Wolfgang have already been donated to the charity auction.

According to National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum executive director Bob Baker, “I can’t thank auctioneer Kendra Jacobs, Bill Holder of the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame, and the DIRT Motorsports Hall of Fame crew of Karl & Andrew Shartner and Pam Forney enough for their support of this event. They are rounding up some really unique auction items. Because Charlotte Motor Speedway and the World Racing Group are bringing the best of all dirt-track worlds together for this huge three-day event, I think fans will be the biggest beneficiaries. They will see the best-of-the-best race each night and then have a chance to buy some one-of-a-kind pieces of memorabilia at reasonable prices on Saturday afternoon. Heck, our own curator, Tom Schmeh, has even put together an Oswego Speedway package which includes a framed original 1984 Oswego Speedway season color poster with two other authentic flyers and a 1/64-scale Jim Shampine 8-ball die-cast modified stock car from his own personal collection.”

The auction will be located in the pavilion in front of the Z-Max Dragway and it will benefit the following non-profit racing charities: National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville, Iowa; Speedway Children’s Charities of Concord, N.C.; National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame in Union, Kentucky; and the Dirt Motorsports Hall of Fame in Weedsport, New York.
