Wally Weekend Up Next For The 1/8 Mile Strip July 15-17
It's that time of year when we get to race for the most prestigious trophy known to NHRA Drag competitors as the Wally. Wally Parks was the founder of NHRA and everyone wants at least one of his trophies for their trophy cabinet. This is the weekend that every division gets a Wally to run for.
How it works if you win Saturday you will then be locked into a runoff with Sunday's winner. The person who comes out on top during the runoff will then win the Wally trophy. Expect some stiff competition at the strip this coming weekend.
Good food and beer will be available with the On The Strip Food Truck come and try a Bacon Cheeseburger or a Chicken Bacon Ranch Pita. Wash it down with a cold Summer Blond from 7 Devis Brew.
Also, the strip will be hot Friday Night with another addition of Street Drags where lane one will be open to any competitor that would like to make a test and tune run.
