Iron-Man Racing Series Concludes 2021 Season with 6th Annual Leftover
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (November 22, 2021)- The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series and Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will conclude their respective 2021 racing campaigns at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, TN on Saturday November 27 with the 6th Annual Leftover. The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series will be in action for $5,000 to win/$450 to start and the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will compete for $1,200 to win/$125 to start, along with crowning the 2021 series champions for both tours.
The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series will be in competition at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday November 27 at the 6th Annual Leftover featuring the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series in a full program of Practice, E-Z-GO Time Trials, Sunoco Race Fuels Heats, and the 40 lap, $5,000 to win/$450 to start 6th Annual Leftover main event. The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will also be in action at the 6th Annual Leftover and will have a full program of Practice, E-Z GO Time Trials, Sunoco Race Fuels Heats, and the 25 lap, $1,200 to win/$125 to start Leftover Open-Wheel Modified main event. Other divisions in competition at the 6th Annual Leftover on Saturday November 27 will be 604 Late Models racing for $1,500 to win, 602 Late Models racing for $800 to win, Sportsman Late Models racing for $800 to win, Taz/Gap Street Stocks racing for $500, and Front Wheel Drives racing for $500 to win. Activities at 411 Motor Speedway for the 6th Annual Leftover on Saturday November 27 will see the pit area and tier parking open at 9:00 a.m., with the general admission area opening at 10:00 a.m. The drivers meeting will take place at Noon, followed immediately by on-track activities. Ticket prices at 411 Motor Speedway on Saturday November 27 in the general admission area will be $20 for adults, while a pit pass/tier parking pass will be $35.
In addition, 411 Motor Speedway will present an afternoon of racing action to kick off the 6th Annual Leftover weekend on Friday November 26 that will feature the 604 Late Models racing for $1,000 to win, 602 Late Models racing for $600 to win, Sportsman Late Models racing for $600 to win, Open Wheel Modifieds racing for $500 to win, Classic Cars racing for $500 to win, B-Hobby/Super Streets racing for $500 to win, and Front Wheel Drives racing for $500 to win. There will be an Open Practice after the completion of the racing program on Friday November 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for all divisions. Activities at 411 Motor Speedway on Friday November 26 will see the pit area and tier parking open at 9:00 a.m., with the general admission area opening at 10:00 a.m. The drivers meeting will take place at Noon, followed immediately by on-track activities. Ticket prices at 411 Motor Speedway on Friday November 26 in the general admission area will be $12 for adults, while a pit pass/tier parking pass will be $30. Children ages 12 and under are $5 at all gates.
John Schneider, who was a star on the longtime running television program Dukes of Hazzard, will also be performing the National Anthem and competing along with his wife, Alicia, in the Brucebilt Iron-Man Open Wheel Modifieds both days.
The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Southern Series will sanction the Super Late Model portion of the event on Saturday November 27 and the tire rule will be as follows: Left Rear/Fronts-Hoosier 1350 or American Racer 48; Right Rear-Hoosier 1350, Hoosier 1600 or American Racer 48 or American Racer 56; (NO 29.0 size tires on the left rear and there is NO droop rule). Teams must use the same set of 4 tires for Qualifying and Heat Races. For the Feature, teams may use one (1) new rear tire (flat tire must be replaced with a used tire of the same compound and construction). The entry fee will be $100 and transponders for timing/scoring will be available for rent at the track. Any driver not making the 22-car starting field will receive $50 tow money.
The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will sanction the Open Wheel Modified portion of the event on Saturday November 27 and the tire rule will be as follows: Left Front, Right Front, and Left Rear- Hoosier M30S and American Racer Hard; Right Rear- Hoosier M30S, M60, Medium, and American Racer Hard and Extra Hard. All tires may be siped anywhere on the car. No grooving of any tires. Drivers will be required to time trial and heat race on the same four tires that must be marked prior to time trials and will be allowed one (1) new rear tire for the feature event. The entry fee for the event is $40 and transponders for timing/scoring will be available to rent at the track. Any driver not making the 22-car starting field will receive $30 tow money.
