Top-10 finish in Lucas Oil action at 411

Dale McDowell and the Shane McDowell Racing traveled to 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) on Friday evening for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Tennessee’s Action Track 50. Drawing 38 cars, McDowell timed in eighth fastest in his group before placing third in his heat. Earning the 12th-starting position for the $12,000-to-win A-Main, Dale clawed forward five spots in the 50-lapper to register a seventh place finish. (Heath Lawson photo)
