$25,000 Wenatchee 200 Back May 31, 2025 With More On The Line
Over the past two year the Wenatchee 200 has quickly become one of the Crown Jewel races on the West Coast bringing some of the biggest names in short track racing to the fastest 1/4 mile in the west at Wenatchee Valley's Super Oval. The Wenatchee 200 Presented by Plumb Perfect will once again return on Saturday May 31, 2025. The payout will increase with $25,000 to the winner and guaranteed $1,500 to start the A-main plus an additional $10,000 will be up in bonus Lap Leader Money! With the bonus money, the winner could walk away with a record $35,000. The track will be selling 200 lap sponsors with the Lap Leader earning $50 for leading the lap and the additional money going to help increase the starting money for the field.
The last two years have witnessed some amazing side by side racing with some of the best in the country with Lake Oswego, OR Driver Kole Raz winning in 2023 and Okanogan, WA Driver Evan Goetz in 2024. Drivers from all over the country have traveled for the race the last two years including Bubba Pollard, Derek Thorn, Michael Atwell, Jacob Gomes, Tyler Tanner, Austin Herzog and more.
Who will come in 2025?
New in 2025 will also be a special trophy, The Matt Bruggman Trophy will go for the race winner in honor of the longtime track and race Sponsor. Matt owned and operated Plumb Perfect for 25 plus years in the Wenatchee Valley with WVSO being one of his passions. The race that he helped resurrect with the Wenatchee 200 will now live in his honor. Matt's wife Darcy and son Cameron have now taken over operations of the company and have signed on once again with Plumb Perfect being the title sponsor of the event.
