Dillard visits Volusia Speedway Park for Sunshine Nationals

Cade Dillard returned to action on Thursday at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Fla.) as the World of Outlaws Late Model Series 2022 season got underway with the Sunshine Nationals. After rough track conditions forced officials to postpone the opening night feature to Friday afternoon, Cade gained five spots in the 30-lapper to register a 12th-place finish.

Later that night, Dillard’s fifth-place finish in his heat relegated him into the B-Main. Needing to place third or better to make the show, Cade notched a runner-up finish behind Logan Martin. A late shower Friday evening postponed the feature to February 16th and cancelled Saturday’s program.
