Enjoy regular event pricing of $15 for general admission and $35 pit fees, along with $1 Berks hot dogs compliments of Miley Motor Sport. PPMS will also be featuring the Rush Late Models, the Keystone Coach Works Hobby Stocks, the Four Cylinders, and the Young Guns. Gates Open at 5 p.m., hot laps begin at 6 p.m., immediately followed by the Penn Ohio Pro Stock Series qualifying.

This is the 9th Annual Ed Laboon Memorial, an event created by Ed’s son Vince after his passing from cancer in 2012. Vince had only planned on doing a one-year memorial race, but due to its popularity and support, it is now in its 9th edition.

“It's been such a difficult year for so many people and businesses, so I felt bad for even asking for sponsorship this year to be honest, and I wasn’t even sure there would be a race this year" stated race promoter Vince Laboon.  "But I felt we all needed something to look forward to with the shortened racing season, and I wanted to keep this race alive for my Dad. Everyone has been unbelievable, and I sincerely appreciate every single sponsor."

Horhut Tree Experts will be the presenting sponsor for the upcoming race.  With this partnership, the 9th annual edition of the race will now pay $3,017 to win, and a record $325 to start, still with no entry fees to the racers.  Penn Ohio Pro Stocks also continued their support of the race and again agreed to waive their registration fees since so many drivers already sponsored the purse.

Along with this partnership, many other members of the racing community have increased their role in keeping this race alive during challenging times. Miley Motor Sports has increased their guaranteed portion of the purse, West Mifflin Collision has increased their 9-year sponsorship, A&F Engineering has become a platinum sponsor to help with the payout, Lias Tire expanded their role to cover the contingency awards, R&R Enterprise Auto Sales came on board to help increase the start money to $325, Dobs Auto continued their partnership to sponsor the popular Dobs Auto NQ race, Fin and Bear it Outdoors has really stepped up their support to assist with the pay through the field, and many new businesses have come forward to cover any sponsors lost due to COVID impact.
