Pittsburgher 100 Ends Season Friday And Saturday At PPMS

The 2017 season finale at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway takes place over two days this weekend, with the running of the 29th Annual Pittsburgher 100.

Three divisions will be in competition during the weekend, headlined by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.  Also in competition will be the Sweeney Chevrolet RUSH Dirt Late Model Marquee Series, and the Homak Manufacturing Penn/Ohio Pro Stock Series.

The action starts on Friday, October 6, with the Grandstand gates opening at 5:00.  On track action will start with hot laps at 6:00, followed by time trials and qualifying heat races for all three divisions.  The band Millertime will perform following the program, at approximately 10:00.

Saturday’s program will start with the Grandstand gates opening at 3:00.  A Dirt Racing Outreach Service will start at 3:30, and the driver’s autograph session will start at 4:30.  On track activity starts with hot laps at 6:00.  Racing will start at 7:00 with Dashes and B-Mains.  The first feature event will be the 100 lap $20,000 to win 29th Annual Pittsburgher 100 featuring the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, followed by the 30 lap $2500 to win Bill Hendren Memorial for the Sweeney Chevrolet RUSH Dirt Late Model Marquee Series, and the 20 lap $1500 to win CruiseAmerica PENNational for the Homak Manufacturing Penn/Ohio Pro Stock Series.

General Admission tickets cover both days and are $50 for Adults, kids 6-12 are $10, under 6 is free.  A Friday only ticket is $20 for Adults, kids 6-12 are $5, and under 6 are free.  The Pit Fee is $75 covering both days, with a Friday only Pit Pass at $30.  Saturday only is the same pricing as a two day pass.  Camping is available for an additional fee.  Tickets may be purchased in advance.
