Mallett Facing ASCS National Tour Tripleheader This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – GREENBRIER, Ark. (April 19, 2023) – A three-race weekend is on tap for Jordon Mallett, who is heading to a trio of states this weekend with the ASCS National Tour.
The competition begins on Thursday at Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Miss. Texarkana 67 Speedway in Texarkana, Ark., hosts a race on Friday before the weekend concludes on Saturday at Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, La.
“I’m optimistic we can get two of the three nights in with the weather,” Mallett said. “We’re hopeful. There’s already been a lot of rainouts. If you’ve done this any amount of time you come to expect March and April are rainy months. I’m just ready to get the season kicked off with ASCS.”
Mallett has posted a top-10 outing during each of his last four races at Jackson Motor Speedway, including a victory last year.
“We’ve won at Jackson and normally run pretty well there,” he said. “We’ve turned quite a few laps there. When it’s right it is a racy place. It’s one of those places you enjoy going to because you know if it’s right it’s going to be game on.”
Mallett is eager to return to Texarkana 67 Speedway.
“I’ve been there a couple of times in my career, but it’s been a few years since I’ve been there,” he said. “I remember one time it was bottom dominant and I remember one other time it was pretty racy and pretty good. I know the new crew that has taken over and they are busting their tails to make it a great place.”
Saturday will mark Mallett’s debut at Boothill Speedway.
