"Double Vision"
This past Hornet Cutting Systems Saturday night brought a jam packed crowd, and fans were treated to an action packed evening of great racing. For starters your eyes are not mistaken, that’s 2 Reimers in victory lane on the same night. First in Primal Jerky Mini-Stocks : Jayce Reimer pedals to a victory after Mr. 2-time Gratton Dalton succumbed to mechanical failure under caution after a strong start, Brett Barber for 2nd, and David Bice took the bronze.
Not to be outdone by his son, The Hot Shoe in the AutoTech Super Stock division 21…. Yes 21 cars started and went green to checkers where Jarrod Reimer found some moisture and the high line to power around multi time champ David Blocher, then battled Chris Purkey for several laps as he went on for the W! 1. The Baddest modifieds in the country boasted a 29 car field for the Alternative Pest Management USRA division. On his first visit this year to 81 Speedway young gun Dillon McCowan took charge from the point and fought off a hard charging Tad Davis for the victory. 1. D. McCowan, 2. Tad Davis, 3. Kenny Sweet.
