LOVE AND WESTERN HPDs TAKE OVER VENTURA SATURDAY

Jesse Love IV will put the lid on the USAC Western HPD Midget Dirt driving title this Saturday when the series visits Ventura (Calif.) Raceway for the series closer.

Love leads both the overall and dirt point standings by comfortable margins over Annie Breidinger and Ashley Hazelton, respectively.

Last week’s USAC Eastern Midget race at Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, N.C. was cancelled due to the impending arrival of Hurricane Matthew. The Eastern Midgets resume their campaign at Spotsylvania, Va. October 22.

The Eastern Midget series concludes October 29 at Kenly and the Western HPD Midgets have pavement races slated October 21-22 at Las Vegas, Nev. and again on November 19 at the LVMS Bullring.
