Tyler County Speedway
Satur'DATE' Night Canceled at Tyler County Speedway
The Hometown Racing Association has unfortunately made the decision to cancel the racing action slated for Saturday Night, May 7th. With overnight and Friday soaking rains, thunderstorms and surrounding flood watches and with more predicted on Saturday, it left speedway officials little option in preparing the ‘Bullring’ for action. The $700 to win Mid-Ohio Valley FWD Championship presented by Sycamore Home Inspection will be rescheduled to Saturday Night, May 21st.
The Tyler County Speedway will once again be back in action next weekend with a rare Sunday evening May 15th program dubbed ‘FEATURE FEST’. While America’s Baddest Bullring shutters from its regular Saturday night program next week in recognition of the Mountaineer Nationals at West Virginia Motor Speedway it will once again swing the gates open on Sunday for the aforementioned FEATURE FEST program. All your favorite divisions will be in action including the Stutler Motorsports Super Late Models presented by Midcap Land and Timber, McClinton Chevrolet Mitsubishi RUSH Late Models, Jenkins Auto Parts UMP Modifieds presented by J&R Excavating, Middlebourne Galaxy Food Center Sportmods, Sigler Fabriction EDGE Hotmods, Dual Threat Sport Cards SCDRA 4 Cylinders and Mini Wedges. Gates will open at 4pm, wedges at 6pm, qualifying at 6:30pm, first feature on the track at 7:15pm.
Even though we didn’t get to treat the ladies to a great night at America’s Baddest Bullring we want to give a very happy Mother’s Day shoutout to all those female race fans, racer wives and race moms that keep the speedway turning in circles. Thank you!
