Tyler County Speedway is Excited to Continue Marketing Partnership with the West Virginia University of Parkersburg for the 2022 Season

As the dawn of a new racing season fast approaches, the Hometown Racing Association is excited to announce the return of the West Virginia University of Parkersburg as the Official 2022 Victory Lane and Checkered Flag sponsor of the Tyler County Speedway. The West Virginia University of Parkersburg has been a strong ally in the regional community and as a marketing partner at America’s Baddest Bullring since the 2020 season.

With another exciting season on the horizon at the Tyler County Speedway as we celebrate 48 years of continuous operation, the West Virginia University of Parkersburg will feature prominently once again around the historic ¼ mile venue. From entrance banners to the huge Victory Lane banner adorned with the WVU-P logo welcoming the nights winners behind the grandstands to Victory Lane to the holding of the Official WVU-P Checkered Flag, the West Virginia University of Parkersburg logo will be synonymous with the winners each week at America’s Baddest Bullring.

The Tyler County Speedway will kick off the new season on Saturday, March 26th with the Annual Test, Tune and Time Trial event with the official green flag dropping on Saturday Night, April 2nd. Race fans, don’t forget about the rescheduled 53rd Annual Hillbilly 100 scheduled for Friday Night, April 8th as we welcome the Lucas Oil Dirt Car Series to town in the $30,000 to win Crown Jewel event.

Since 1974, the Tyler County Speedway has hosted some of the best biggest motorsports events in the region. Under the management of Hometown Racing Association, the ‘Bullring’ operates weekly April through September featuring several special events. Tyler County Speedway is located 3 ½ miles South of Middlebourne, WV on State Route 18 at the Tyler County Fairgrounds.
