COMP Cams Super Dirt Series set for Triple Header Weekend

By Ben Shelton (Beebe, AR) -- The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) will put an exclamation point on the month of June this weekend with a triple header run through the Sooner State.

Action opens on Thursday at Tri State Speedway (Pocola, Oklahoma) before thundering into Salina Highbanks Speedway (Pryor Creek, Oklahoma) on Friday and Saturday for a pair of co-sanctioned events with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA).

Jack Sullivan leads the tour into action as the Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man with a 98-point advantage atop the series standings. B.J. Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, Gavin Landers, Tanner Kellick, Robert Baker, Robby Moore, David Payne, and Chandler Petty round out the current series standings.

Tanner Kellick continues to lead the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year standings with Robby Moore in second.

Thursday’s COMP Cams Super Dirt Series event at Tri State Speedway is being sponsored by Merrill Bonding, Midwest Automation, and Shamrock Bolt and Screw and will be headlined by a $3,000-to-win/ $400-to-start feature. USRA Modifieds will also be a part of the program as they battle for $1,200 to win.

Adult grandstand admission is $15 with kids (6-12) $5, Seniors (65+), and Law enforcement and all military (with proof of service) will be $13. Pit admission for adults is $35 with kids (6-12) $15.

The pit gate opens at 5:00 p.m. with grandstands opening at 6:00 p.m. Hot laps are at 7:30 p.m.

The CCSDS will co-sanction the 5th annual ARMI Freedom Classic with the Lucas Oil MLRA at Salina Highbanks Speedway (Pryor Creek, Oklahoma) on Friday and Saturday, June 29-30. Friday’s program will pay $3,000-to-win/ $400-to-start, while Saturday night’s finale will post a $5,000-to-win/ $500-to-start purse.

On Friday night B-Mods and Super Stocks will accompany the program, while Saturday will find Modifieds and Pure Stocks joining the card.

Friday grandstand admission is $15 for adults with kids (6-12) $5, Seniors (62+) $12, VIP $25, and Beer Garden $25. Pit passes are $35 with $5 off with a NASCAR license. Saturday adult grandstand admission is $20 with kids (6-12) $10, Seniors (62+) $17, VIP $30 and Beer Garden $30. Pit passes are $35 with $5 off with a NASCAR license.

On Friday the pit gate opens at 4:00 p.m. with grandstands opening at 6:00 p.m. Hot laps are at 7:30 p.m. with racing action at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday the pit age opens at 3:00 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps are at 6:30 p.m. with racing action at 7:00 p.m.
