Colin Shipley follows Allstar Challenge to Tri-City and Merritt

With a third-place finish in his heat race placing him on the fourth row for the feature, Shipley faded six spots in the 40-lapper to finish 13th.

On Saturday afternoon at Merritt Speedway (Merritt, Mich.), Colin followed up a third-place finish in his heat with a seventh-place finish in the feature.

For the $10,000-to-win finale on Sunday, Shipley’s runner-up finish in his heat positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the main event. Carrying a steady pace in the 40-lap affair, Colin recorded a seventh-place finish.
