Open Positions: Track Maintenance
Tri-City Motor Speedway is seeking a self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks to help fix and maintain equipment and perform routine property maintenance mid-April through late September. Hours vary each week, will mainly be weekdays or evenings, 20-30 hours per week depending on the projects being performed.
Job Duties: Mowing the grass, trimming trees, painting, hanging signs, installing fencing, pouring cement and mechanical work on track vehicles to keep them operational. A mechanically inclined individual with knowledge of operating heavy equipment and has attention to detail is ideal for this position.
Skills Needed:
• A self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks
• Skilled in operating a variety of large vehicles
• Attention to detail is required
• Intermediate knowledge of tools
• Quick learner
• Able to work quickly and safely
• Adaptability and work under pressure
• Positive attitude
• Work in a team environment
• Must be able to stand and sit for up to two hours at a time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, twist and bend

• Retired individual or someone with an open schedule looking for long-term; seasonal employment at TCMS
• Mechanically inclined
• Able to operator heavy equipment
• Able to problem solve and fix road vehicles
• Likes to get their hands dirty
• Can prioritize daily tasks and efficiently multitask without supervision
