Help Wanted - Safety Crew (Fill-In)
Tri-City Motor Speedway is seeking a reliable, dependable and thrill-seeking individual for Friday evenings from 4pm-12am (hours may vary) as a fill-in for the safety crew. This is a fill-in position to assist the safety crew when someone needs a day off. You are able to work at another race track that runs on a different night of the week.
Skills Needed:
• A self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks
• Must have strong problem solving and time management skills
• Adaptability and work under pressure
• Skilled in operating a variety of large vehicles
• Attention to detail is required
• Work in a team environment
• Knowledge of basic tools and car parts
• Quick learner
• Great customer service skills
• Positive attitude
• Must be able to stand for up to two hours at a time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, twist and bend
Best Candidates Include:
• Individuals who have an open schedule on Friday’s and looking for side work for extra income and some thrill seeking work throughout the race season.
• Most likely will be working 1/2 of the race nights and maybe called in to work as late as the current race day to fill an open position.
• Have advanced knowledge in racing or worked in the racing industry in the past.
• Enjoys a fun, fast-pace, action packed environment.
• Reliable transportation.
