2020 Season Update & COVID-19 Update
We hope you are holding up the best you possibly can with the current conditions around us and the COVID-19 virus threats. We were forced to make some updates to our 2020 schedule today as some may be aware. We made the following changes:
- April 4th: I-Smile Silver Sprint Invader Opener (Canceled)
- April 11th: IRA & MOWA Clash (Postponed - Date Pending)
- April 18th: 12th Annual Slocum 50 presented by The Outpost (Rescheduled: July 3rd, 2020).
This is the first year in the history of the Slocum 50 that the event didn't run on the original date so thank you so much to Lucas Oil MLRA for being willing to reschedule an event that remains so special to us.
Now, how and what are we doing? That's a somewhat loaded question. We're holding up and cannot thank those of you who have reached out and purchased merchandise and koozies from us over the past couple of weeks! We cannot tell you how much we appreciate the support. You can snag your swag at the shop tab on our website or there's another selection at www.34raceway.bigcartel.com.
What are we doing? We're keeping up with our federal, state and local leaders day by day and are trying to see what's in store for us next. President Trump did extend the order to mandate 10 or less people per gathering through April 30th but we will continue to hold onto hope. As soon as they give us the green flag, we're ready to race! The schedule will continue to change some as we're forced to reschedule events and things, but we will make the best of what we have and make the best business decisions we can. Stick with us folks! We'll all get through this.
In closing, wash your nasty hands. Stay home and bond with your families and be kind to one another. We know it's hard but absence makes the heart grow fonder. And the nose wish it was smelling race fuel... And... We'll stop there! You can find us (social distancing) working at the track over the next couple of weeks.
Be well & be kind!
