Banks, Oregon-Saturday, September 14th, will see another series of racers earn their crowns at SSP. Six classes are on the card included the IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, IMCA Sport Mods, 4-Bees, New Bees, and the Big Sky Landscaping Stock Car Series.

Ticket prices are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (6-12) $5.00, and Kids (5 & Under) are FREE. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths (6-12)) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, with racing kicking off at 6:00. Please, no outside food or drink. For more information, log on to www.sunsetspeedwaypark.com.

Doug Lockwood is twenty-three points against his nearest challenger in the IMCA Modified division. It will be the first time in a while that he has obtained a title at SSP. A narrow seven points separate Craig Loomis and Joey Tardio in the Street Stock class. Loomis is no stranger to track championships, but Tardio has been a runner-up on many occasions.

Eighteen marks are all that is in between Don West from Tanner Krohling. West is still looking for his first feature event win of the year but has been stellarly consistent. "Crimson" Cody Skies will look to lay waste to the 4-Bee flotilla one last time as he has a comfortable one-hundred-sixty-two points over the current runner-up.

Andie Keller and Tori Chandler have a mere twenty-four points between the two. With one final race left in the New Bee division, Keller has the advantage over Chandler. The Big Sky Landscaping IMCA Stock Car Series has an incredible battle for the points championship. Sean Gentry and Kevin Roberts are tied while Ron Brewster is back by four points and Arnie Case six.
